 Volleyball Instruction For 5th and 6th Graders Anyone in 5th or 6th grade during 2011/2012 can sign up for instruction in the basic skills of volleyball. The emphasis will be on skill development, scrimmage play and fun! [ learn more ] Club Player Fees All-inclusive player fees are $675 for the season due at the Parent / Player meeting. We will consider 1/2 payment in November and 2nd 1/2 in January, if needed for players to be able to participate. Additional Family Members Will Receive a $50 Discount! Players & parents sign a club code of conduct, meet the coaches, coaches gather player information, uniform sizes, preferred numbers, hitting shirt names, get any conflict dates for practice or tournaments from players. |
Oregon Acers Volleyball Club Philosophy The Oregon Acers junior girls volleyball club was formed to provide off-season play and skill development for area girls. Our coaching staff will also teach and emphasize leadership, sportsmanship and teamwork as essential skills for volleyball and life. Girls 13-18 are invited to try-out for a spot on one of our teams. We will play 6 tournaments, about twice a month. Volleyball is our passion, but we want the girls to be able to play the game they enjoy while maintaining a healthy balance of volleyball, family, school and other activities. Teams will be formed based on the number of participants and their age and skill level. Practices can be 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the age group. One practice will be on Sunday afternoon and the other will be during the week, preferably Tuesday or Thursday. |
